SOUTH LAGUNA BEACH FIRE STATION
The GSA/A-E Administration of the County of Orange was interested in doing a major remodel and seismic retrofit for the fire station. Understanding the basic workings of the fire facility, its associated devices, vehicles, and critical floor clearances for equipment, were key issues to the design of this project.
The majority of the structure, in terms of its vertical loading, was in good condition. Our office engineered structural stabilization framework to the exterior and wall surfaces.
The interior was modernized/reconstructed, and the overnight facilities were modified and/or replaced.
