WHO WE ARE
The Donald Krotee Partnership, Inc.
A Professional Practice of Planning & Architecture
Donald Krotee Partnership, Inc. (DKP) has provided professional A/E services continuously since 1974 (45+ years). Since 1979, our firm has specialized in the design and rehabilitation of public work for commercial, municipal, and educational facilities. In 1984, our company registered ownership as a S type California corporation. We have 10 employees, over half of which are women, and we are as diverse as the communities we serve.
For 45 years we have completed on-time and within budget, rehabilitation work on more than 2,500 buildings, as well as over 300 municipal, commercial and educational projects, whose cost of construction is in excess of $1 Billion. More than 50 buildings are members of the National Register of Historic Places. Like any firm, we succeed in design with problem seeking problem solving approaches to managing complexity. Our success is better ensured by applying our developed expertise. We look forward to serving your clients’ needs with capabilities that are essentially unlimited.

Core values
Investment
Once within the design process, DKP becomes a vested partner with a college or school district. With over 45 years of combined experience creating Architecture, we are active partners who will do everything we can for our clients and have not forgotten how to get our hands dirty.
versatility
Our versatile approach allows us to offer creative solutions that stretch across a variety of project types, scales and complexities. We know the tenacity it takes to realize a project and are invested in its success.
resourcefulness
We love using our resources to turn something commonplace into something amazing. We evaluate project challenges, but with respect for the public client’s “time and money”. DKP values goals based on science driven design, but with a sensible and practical approach.
Honesty
We prefer honesty to hypocritical politeness as we lead you through a complex process. We are less about sweet talk or flattery and more about offering options and opinions that help move toward project goals.
