ANTHONY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The Garden Grove Unified School District selected DKP to provide “take-over” architectural services from a previous architectural firm for a “Modernization” project, which at the time was in the middle of the Construction Administration phase.
DKP was also selected, as the Architect-of-record, for a separate “HVAC, and Ancillary Scope” project which included an all new air conditioning design, (including roof- top units), at a previously non-conditioned school site.
The existing windows were replaced with new energy conforming windows and new, dropped, T-bar ceilings were installed throughout the campus. All work of the previously approved “Modernization” project was required to be brought up to the current 2013 code (CBC) compliance. Project was submitted and approved by DSA.
Construction administration for both projects was performed, and project close-out and DSA certification was accomplished for both separate projects.
