SANTA ANA YMCA

DKP is currently working with a client who seeks to restore the historic four-level Santa Ana YMCA building as a new community shared health, conference, and counselling center.

DKP will completely restore the interior and exterior to its original 1927 grandeur. The basement-level community pool’s original Batchelder tile wainscot will be restored as will the three original Batchelder fire place surrounds.

The main level gymnasium will be restored for the use to the public along with the restoration of the original interior courtyard, which includes the removal of 1950’s infill construction. The two top levels, originally lodging for YMCA guests, will be converted in to small meeting and conference rooms.
