FLUOR/YANEZ BUILDING
DKP coordinated this project with the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and the (SHPA). The project was funded with private, local, and 501C(3) funding.
We completed seismic and historic restorations as part of a multi-block project, and were also hired to do several other buildings on this same block that gave the appearance of a row of commercial buildings. This was a stand-alone “retail down/office up” commercial building.
The original building was the first pre-depression bank building of the First National Bank. The Flour Brothers were headquartered on the upper floor.
Our office performed all A/E services for the rehabilitation, including seismic retrofit, mechanical services, HVAC, new plumbing, water and waste connections, new AFS, roofing and façade restoration, and supported its placement on the National Register.
