Don founded the Donald Krotee Partnership in 1975, and currently has more than 45 years of professional experience in the industry of planning and architectural design.  Since its inception, his company has provided A/E services on over 600 public and private projects, totaling over $1B in construction.

Don began his undergraduate work at Temple University in Philadelphia and completed his professional degree at the College of Architecture at the University of Arizona. Don completed his internship in Arizona and California and was licensed in 1974.  Don received a corporate, AIA (American Institute of Architects), membership in 1975 and is a Member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Matt has been with the DKP since 1988 and he is our senior project manager.  Matt designs, produces all documentation, and coordinates all processes for our key public projects.  Matt specializes in the rehabilitation of existing structures, government and municipal facilities, major additions, tenant improvements, and accessibility standards.

Matt graduated from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, receiving his Bachelor of Architecture Degree.  Matt is an AIA Associate Member and a Member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Carlos has been with the DKP since 2012.  His project management skills focus on public, government and private commercial projects.  Carlos designs, produces all documentation, and coordi­nates all processes on his projects.  He specializes in the rehabilitation of buildings, government facilities, major additions, and accessibility standards.

Carlos is a professor in the architectural design and construction education department at Orange Coast Community College.  Carlos received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Woodbury University and holds several Associates of Arts, and Associates of Science degrees, including Construction Technology.

Griselda worked professionally in public education and non-profit corporations since 2000. She joined DKP in 2017 with extensive experience in public education, grant writing, marketing, project management, and not-for-profit corporate management. She assists DKP in outreach, marketing, and management. In 2016, DKP started its own educational non-profit foundation for the advancement of California kids and teachers, focusing in the Central Orange County area. Griselda took the assistant management role in leading the outreach and functions of the DKP Foundation. She manages the grant writing and scholarship awards for the non-profit side of the business. She also pursues non-profit and for-profit corporate opportunities and co-manages the marketing of each business.

Diana has been with DKP since 2016 and is an executive assistant to DKP’s administrative staff.  She received her Associates Degree in Science at Golden West Community College and has a background in planning, design and building. She is continuing her education at CSUF.

Denise has worked at DKP since 2012 and oversees our accounts payable and receivables department. She coordinates statistical analysis for feasibility studies and our interior and exterior audits and tax related work.  Her 35 years’ experience in the building industry in accounting and analysis, provides DKP with statistical information on all projects.

Claudia has been with the DKP since 1990.  She is a project manager and designs, produces all documentation and coordi­nates all planning and architectural design on medium public and private work.

Claudia is an associate member of the AIA and a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  Claudia did her undergraduate work at CSUF and received her BFA in Interior Design at Chicago’s Harrington Institute of Design.  She is a member of the ASID and IBD.

Gary has been with DKP since 1999 and manages public, government and private commercial projects.  Gary designs and produces all documentation and coordi­nates all processes on his projects.  He specializes in the rehabilitation of buildings, government facilities, major additions, and the retrofitting of accessibility standards.

Gary majored in Architecture at the UCB and graduated with honors. While at Berkeley he received the Eisner Prize in Architecture and the Library Prize for undergraduate research.

Perry has been with DKP since 2003.   Perry is an expert, and an award winning Autodesk Instructor.  Perry’s vast experience has enabled DKP  with the ability to perform on-site training for all our CAD operators.  Perry assists PM’s and produces all required support documentation.  Additionally Perry coordinates all on-site work and oversees building activities.  Perry specializes in the rehabilitation of existing structures, government rehab, municipal facilities, major additions, tenant improvements, and accessibility standards.
